Personal Statement

Solving complex challenges has been a passion of mine since I was a little girl. Like most athletes I enjoy the competition and working hard towards a team goal, but I also enjoy the thousands of minute details that have to be managed every second of a game. I like to anticipate other players and read their moves, so I can respond in the most effective way to block a shot, pass the ball or score. I also inherited my grandfather's cat-like reflexes, which come in pretty handy on the court! This spring and summer, I will play on the Platinum 16U Dallas Club with Coach Ralph Walker and Coach Joe Alexander and will attend a couple of camps for potential college teams.

Academically, I will start my sixth year of engineering classes as a junior and plan to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering.
