Personal Statement

I was born in Mississippi and started playing basketball and softball at a young age. I love the outdoors, riding horses and camping. I lived in Mississippi until I was 11 years old and then my Dad moved our family to South Korea for 2 years because of his job. When we came back to the USA, we moved to Katy Texas and I attended a brand new high school, Obra D Tompkins high. The first year we only had 9th and 10th grade so we played Jr Varsity and we were undefeated, 27-0. I was the only 9th grader on the team. During my 10th grade year, we had varsity. I was a starter and we made it through the 2nd round of playoffs. I was the only 10th grader that year. My Junior year (I was the only Junior, with 11 Seniors), I started and we made it to the Elite 8 of the Texas 6A State Playoffs. 11 Seniors graduated and I was the only returning varsity player my Senior year. As Captain, I helped the younger players with plays and extra work after practices. My Dad had to transfer with his job during Christmas Break 2016, so I had to transfer to Mabank High School. It is a really good team and I have integrated well, even though I joined the team half way through the season. We will definitely make a run in the playoffs. The Mabank schedule is attached and I hope anyone that has time to, will try to see me play.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
