I love basketball and my desire is to play at the next level upon graduating in quitman isd. In addition, I have always been strong academically and I will pursue the best educational opportunities available to me as well. I'm a player that always has a very positive attitude and this positivity spreads to my teammates when we're on the court together as I tend to lift them up mentally as well as helping them perform at a higher level. I enjoy making people laugh and putting them up so it will be a better game. My style of play is unselfish and I like to give my teammates opportunities to excel in practice as well as games. I did learn last summer, however, that there are times when I have to be a little more selfish because of my ability and that this can actually help my team. My parents have always stressed that I should listen to my coaches and be a leader to my teammates because of my talents and I do this every day. My goal is to continually improve and I will take advantage of opportunities to do this through individual training, camps, etc. I value my faith, family, and friendships and these things anchor me and give me strength whenever I'm faced with a difficult challenge. My character is very strong - I don't engage in risky behavior and am also well-liked by my teachers, classmates, friends, coaches, and teammates.
