My goals and aspriations are very similar in the sense that I want to grow not only as a student but as a player. Grow as a student with keeping my grades up and getting involved with my community and school. To get my masters and keep above a 3.2 GPA. Grow as a player with continuing to work on my communication with my team on and off the court. Be in the gym to work on my dribbling, shooting, skills etc to get better. I want to have a great communication with my coach as well and be a coachable player. I strive to be a role model on and off the court.
I'm a great candidate because I have strong work ethics that my mother has instilled in my since I was young. I work hard and put in the overtime and effort it takes to continue to be the best version player of myself I can be. I am always trying to learn and master something new whether its a skill or being able to run a play with any defense. I want to always involve my teammates and make them work hard on the court too to get better as well. I work on controlling my emotions so as to not let them overtake the game.
I feel I stand out from others because I have definitely had to overcome some obstacles in my life; however I've never given up and I always work on getting better. I'm an extremely passionate, genuine, hard worker, leader, un selfish, and determined young lady to name a few qualities. I'm hungry to continue to learn in school and on the court. I know what I want and I'm willing to put in the work to get there. I take every opportunity given to me and do my best, because I don't take it for granite. Where there's a will there's a way, and my mom always told me if I put in the hard work now I will reap the benefits one day and it will all be worth it.
