Lucy Richards '24 Recruiting Profile

During my junior season of basketball, my team won region and went 17-4. As the 4th seed, we were upset by the 12th seed before the state tournament. It was one of the worst experiences of my life but I have learned much from it. I know how to overcome heartbreak and loss and how to build others up. I want to continue doing that and continue learning more life lessons while playing the game I adore. 

I have many dreams and high hopes for my life. I want to become a chiropractor and change lives. I take my education seriously and strive to do my best in every class. Athletically, I aspire to be a leader and contributor at the next level. I want another family to build up and be apart of. At 6' tall, I can handle the ball well, I can see the court and make great passes, and I have inside moves and can shoot 3s. As a player who is not one-dimensional, I can play most positions on the floor. I can also lead. As a captain I know how to notice what my teammates need. I know how to boost moral, bring us together, and move us forward. I am well rounded but also so eager to learn more and very coachable.
