I have been playing basketball since I was 8 years old. I have a passion for the game and what it has to offer including the technical ins and outs of the game but it has always been more than just a game to me. It has been a way I’ve connected with my parents, siblings, coaches, friends and teammates. Striving to be the best I can be, through year round training and practices has taught me life lessons about time management, teamwork, rewards as well as frustrations, and resilience. I hope that I will be fortunate enough to play at the next level in college where I can apply and expand these life skills and take beyond basketball.
I have been dedicated year round with my training and practices. I’ve played for my school and my AAU teams while training on off days and throughout the off seasons. I’m very coachable, taking it to heart what areas I need to focus on for improvements and how to improve. I have a high basketball IQ, understanding the game and capable of making the right game time decisions while playing. I enjoy the learning and digesting plays, team movements, and team spacing aspects of the game.
I am a very solid player in all aspects of the game from defense, scoring, rebounding, and passing the ball. I am more than capable of being the team leader and to provide a scoring spark but also really enjoying making sure my entire team is involved and usually get a lot of assists. While I am easily capable of accumulating stats across the board, what I really take to heart is that from all my teams, everyone has always wanted me on their team and wanted me to be one of their teammates.
