Ashley Vandergrift '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing sports with my twin sister since I was 5 years old and enjoy the competition and challenging myself and teammates.  Some of my best memories are playing sports with my family and spending time with my teammates at basketball and soccer tournaments.

I have been playing on Paul VI High School's varsity team coached by Scott Allen. This year (2021) we finished the season 4th in the Country and went to the Geico National Championship in Fort Meyers, FL, winning the semi-finals and finishing as National Championship Runner Up.  Paul VI High school has won the state championship 14 years straight and is one of the top girls basketball teams in the country.

I am looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. As a student-athlete and  National Honor Society student, I am looking for a school that provides a high academic component. My dream has always been to study physical therapy and play basketball in college. I am also looking for a fulfilling athlete-coach and teammate relationship.
