I've been playing basketball since I was eight years old. In previous years I never knew why I kept playing until my freshman year was taken away by coronavirus. This event made me realise that I love basketball and it is a part of me. The intense feelings of winning and the lessons learned from losses keep me going not only in the game but in school as well. I've always been able to obtain honor roll and making sure I'm performing at my best by staying after with teachers or asking for extra practice.
