Hi,
My name is Mya Blizzard and I am a junior at Franklin County High School in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Throughout my basketball career, I have always played in the shooting guard position , averaging 18 points per game. Due to an unfortunate injury to my teammate early this season, I was moved to the starting point guard position where I lead the Roanoke Timesland Region in assists and steals, was awarded First Team All District and Second Team All Regional. Not only am I a versatile player on the offensive side of the ball, I make it a point to wear out whoever I am charged to guard on the defensive side of the ball. I am currently playing in my second season for Team Felton, an AAU team (Adidas Gauntlet Gold) out of High Point, NC. I believe a few of my greatest attributes to the game are my court vision and ability to create plays. I am a true team player, my teammates are family to me. There is nothing better than pulling through a tough game and knowing we gave our all, leaving everything on the court.
