Kenya Ramsey '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kenya Ramsey, I am 6'0 and I love to play basketball. My positions are shooting guard and forward.  I was captain for two years of my middle school team.  I really enjoy being a shooting guard but mostly used as a forward by my Middle school, Freshman year and AAU team because of my height.  This past year was my sophomore season, I played the 2-5 positions and defended from the 1-5 positions. I made the 2nd Team All Beach and 2nd Team All District.  I had several double doubles and helped my team advance to the first round of the state tournament. It's always been my dream to play college ball since I was younger and I have invested a lot of time into this beautiful game of basketball. I would like to attend school in the east or southeast region because its not to far from home but am open to others if I get a scholarship.  I also would like to attend a competitive school but I am open to who wants to use my talents.  My athletic goals are to play at my highest athletic ability. I definitely stand out not only for my height and athletic skills, but I am a very kind and generous person. I maintain positive friendships and support my family and friends any time I get.  I maintain honor roll and participate in school and community events.
