Kaylee Boger '16 Recruiting Profile

As I have approached senior year, I have come to realize that goals can change, I once dreamed of living on the beach and being a marine biologist with the picture perfect family; however, I have come to feel God leading me to the mission field. This summer I went on a mission trip to the UK and was able to use my athletic abilities to share the gospel. Whether it was kicking a soccer ball around or playing in a pickup basketball game, I came to realize that many of these kids did not know who God was and on top of that they had also  never seen a bible! This really startled me, but on the flight home the lord convicted me and brought to my attention how easy it was to talk to these kids about Christ simply through playing sports. At that moment I realized that God was calling me to use my athletic abilities to lead lost souls to the Lord. 
I played field Hockey last fall and this fall I am currently playing Volleyball, while it is my hopes and goals to play College basketball, I also want to become a more diverse athlete. By doing this I hope to reach more people and lead them to Jesus. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
