Hi, my name is Farrah Abdallah and I love the game of basketball! I have played Varsity and started since I was a freshman and have been a team captain since my sophomore year. I am now 17 years old and I am an upcoming senior in high school. My agenda this summer of 2022 is to work on fine tuning basketball skills, speed and agility training, and working out four days a week with my high school basketball team along with attending prospect camps. In addition, I am hoping to play on a fall league. My goals are to play on a college team if the opportunity permits. I look forward to continuing as one of the team captains this upcoming season. I love and I am very dedicated to basketball, and I feel like the sport comes natural to me. I love playing with my teammates and promoting positivity and teamwork. I am clearly a leader by example on the court although I have been identified as "shy". I am coachable and I feel I am a great candidate and role model to represent any college/ university. I work very hard in school and always strive to achieve better. I had a bit of a setback with Algebra II and Chemistry my last wo quarters of this year, but I stayed after and scheduled retakes to stay afloat. I plan and will turn it around first quarter of my senior year, so that I can start applying to schools. I am respectful to my teammates, coaches, and my peers in school and in any environment. I am caring, respectful, unselfish, responsible, humble, and I am a very hard worker. Again, I work with a professional trainer focusing on speed, agility, weight training, and Vertimax with a basketball focus two-three times a week. In addition, I work with a private trainer strictly focusing on basketball fundamentals consistently every week. My favorite subject in school is music and I played the violin for four years. I currently still play classical piano as one of my courses and it has become one of my favorite things to do in school and at home. I love the outdoors enjoying the weather and I love animals. I love spending time with family and friends. A few of my hobbies are cooking, fishing, technical drawing, and listening to all styles of music. I am truly looking forward to what my future continues to hold and will never feel discouraged. I am currently in transition to changing my major, which as broaden my academic options.
