Farrah Parrish '21 Recruiting Profile

I love playing the game with the resiliency of an UNDERDOG!   I am not the strongest, most talented, or most gifted player on the court; but you can count on me to be the MOST COMPETITIVE.  Almost everyone has the desire to win; desire is easy.  I have a commitment to myself on always improving myself to my game, by first starting to examine my own weaknesses.  Yes, I am not tall; but I have always played with the mentality of “HEART OVER HEIGHT.”  I have a very strong mental aspect of the game and there are always certain ways to make the game easier and gain advantages for myself on the court.  I have played the game on many different levels; from recreation leagues to elite competitive.  And the common factor of all the games I’ve played in is: TEAMWORK.  I consider myself as a floor general.  Bringing together our different talents through a shared objective of playing the game well.  Unity is our strength through collaboration, communication and commitment to each other.  And through our commitments we have bonded in becoming a basketball family.  

I have always known college was going to be in my future, mainly from my parents whom sanctioned the idea to me from a young age.  From an early age I have been intrigued by the human mind and how it works.  I would love to enhance my interest through my study of psychology.    Whilst I enhance my education, I would love to continue playing the game that I love. MY PASSION IS BASKETBALL.
