Personal Statement

My love for basketball started at a young age.  Through dedication and hard work, as well as the privilege of playing with terrific teammates and coaches, my skills have continued to grow and develop.  I always strive to improve my game and compete at a high level.  This includes a daily routine of 400-500 shots, dribbling drills, strength/agility training, preventative exercises, mental training, smart nutrition, and stretching. To me, the grind and practice are huge parts of what allow me to enjoy basketball more each and every day.  It’s that opportunity to play/compete, reflect, practice, and grow as a player, that is so rewarding.  It is my goal and dream to play college basketball.  I just don’t see myself doing something without the sport in my life!  Not only do I want to be the best I can in basketball, but in my everyday life. Whether it is something as important as my academic career, where I have a 4.0 GPA, or as small as a chore, I always put my best effort forward. Playing basketball continually teaches me many valuable lessons and one of those is how important and impactful hard work, focus and dedication are, both on and off the court.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
