Personal Statement
My name is Gillian Sherwood and I am currently a freshman in high school. I'll make this short and sweet. Hard work is one of the most important aspects to me and that is what makes me a good candidate for any college interested. I will bring an energy to the court that is full of enthusiasm and work hard at any task thrown at me. That is the same mentality that I use in the academic aspect of being a student-athlete. By staying on top of my schoolwork, I maintain a strong 4.0 GPA in all advanced classes. Along with my mentality, I stand at 6' and can handle the ball around the arc and with my back to the basket. However, beyond everything else, I am there to have fun and work with my team to achieve the common goal.
