Speed is one of my favorite aspects of playing basketball, and is a characteristic that describes me as a player. I’m a focused defender with quick hands, and I love the quickness and intensity of the game. I’ve spent most of my life playing elite soccer, most recently in the Elite Club National League (ECNL), but as I look to my future and set my college goals, I realize that although I’ve been playing soccer at the one of the highest levels in the country, basketball holds my heart. As a basketball player, I’m all about taking advantage of my natural speed and strengths as an athlete; quick bursts, fast breaks, shifty side to side movements, and relentless defensive movements. I’m super coachable, vocally positive and encouraging, and I will always look to make the pass to my teammates rather than take a selfish shot. I've been playing basketball since I was four years old and I still love the game just as much as I did then. I'm thankful for the life lessons I've learned from my amazing coaches, teammates, and as a result of persevering through those challenging times.
Reflecting on my college goals, I’d love to be part of a team that has a family aspect to it, and that supports both personal and athletic growth in players. I'm blessed to have that aspect on my current high school, and club teams. I chose to attend a small Christian high school, and I take my academics seriously, so being a scholar-athlete in college is also very important to me. Although I'm not certain of my future career path, I'm exploring possibilities in the fields of business or kinesiology. I can’t wait to find the university that will allow me to serve and support others, to help me continue to learn and grow as an athlete and as a person, as well as reach my own academic and athletic goals.
