Personal Statement

Hi my name is Tori Clement and I am 15 years old and I am currently attending Strathcona high school in Edmonton, Alberta. My collegiate goal is to work my hardest and be a part of a team that wants to do big things. No matter the team or the division, I want to put in the hours for both my teammates and the school to accomplish our goals and play the game I love while still focusing on school work. It’s been a dream for me to play collegiate beach volleyball once I hit the sand for the very first time, because beach is the game I love.

I was selected as an underaged athlete onto the U16 team alberta beach team and trained with them for a week and went on to win the U15 Alberta Division 1 beach provincial champions title with my team alberta partner

During our week of training we scrimmaged with team ontario but I ended up breaking my big toe and my partner caught pneumonia so we couldn’t play in nationals the next day but we’re still qualifiers
