Kylie Strang '24 Recruiting Profile

I've been an athlete all my life. Beach volleyball has captivated my heart over the last several years.  I started the summer between my 7th and 8th grade year where I had the opportunity to play in Hermosa Beach California.  My freshman year of high school I started on the varsity team at the 3’s spot.  That was the year when I realized how much I loved the sport.  My sophomore year I was the 1’s team on varsity and my partner and I competed at state. This year, I have competed in multiple weekend beach tournaments throughout Tucson.  As I've competed I've learned to adapt quickly and play with different partners.  I take criticism and instruction from each of my coaches and apply it to the next play. I push myself to do my best in everything I do.  My goal this year is to compete at a high level to return to state and win.
