Tatum Meinerz '24 Recruiting Profile

For the love of the game!  I started my volleyball career in 4th grade.  I play indoor competitively and started playing beach five years ago to increase my vertical and ball handling skills along with game strategy.  When COVID hit and indoor was cancelled, we competed in 3 to 5 tournaments a week during the summer of 2020 and training in between.  My beach club also travels to compete in the BVCA competitions which has increased my love and passion for the game.  Playing more competitive teams from different states helps to elevate my skills.  I enjoy the team aspect of the high school and BVCA level of play and there is nothing like having your own team cheering section.  I have increased my vertical by 3 inches in a year and look to keep working on building my body to support my competitive schedule.  Playing beach is a much different pace and requires you to trust and be trusted when playing with your partner.  I believe in a 50/50 partnership and lots of encouragement and communication on the court!
