Personal Statement
When asked in an interview to choose one word to describe myself, I used “determined”. That sums up my high school athletic and academic achievements. By pushing myself to perform at the highest level all 4 years of high school in and out of the classroom, I have developed habits that will continue in my adult life. Naturally competitive, sports have served as a positive outlet throughout my youth. Paired with my quieter, introspective personality, my determination makes me a solid, reliable team leader. By maintaining composure and confidence in my skills, I feel capable of helping everyone around me play their best.
