My name is Mackenzie Coats and I am a junior at Immanuel High School in Reedley, CA. I started playing indoor volleyball when I was in 6th grade after a career ending injury as a competitive gymnast. Sports and being an athlete has given me the opportunity in my life to grow as a leader and an encourager on and off the court. This will be my first year playing beach volleyball and after every practice I’m reminded as to why I have grown to love it so much. It’s a sport full of intense competition requiring grit and hustle that gives you that feeling of success and accomplishment when you’re done. My goal is to play volleyball in college, whether it be indoor or beach, while furthering my education to reach my career goal of becoming a sports medic. I am dedicated, responsible, and driven to learn new things, which added to my love for the game I believe allows me to have a positive impact on your team.
