2018 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I fell in love with volleyball when I was in 3rd grade while playing on my community’s rec team. Throughout the years after that, I have worked hard to get better and better at the game by training and playing on elite club teams. I am happy in being a part of something bigger than myself. I currently play for my high school Varsity indoor and beach teams. I enjoy being on a team and representing my school. I am very competitive and a hard worker.
I love both indoor and beach volleyball. In August 2018, I decided to concentrate on playing beach volleyball. I am currently training with Cape Coast Beach Volleyball Club. I want to play beach volleyball in college. I take my academics very seriously. I am currently a Junior in the Bioscience Program of Emphasis at my high school and I want to continue my studies in Biology/Chemistry in college.
Finally, I would like you to know that I have grown up in a family that believes in faith, honesty, hard work and discipline, service to others, and that striving to do your best will make for a successful life.
