Courtney Bates '23 Recruiting Profile

I started my volleyball career with indoor volleyball in Middle School, and tried beach volleyball the winter of my sophomore year. I was the starting Libero for my indoor seasons during my freshman and sophomore years at Riverview High School, so I love playing in defensive positions. I also have experience as a setter for my indoor club season from my freshman year. I am a coachable athlete with a positive attitude. I joined the Riverview High School beach volleyball team in the spring and helped bring our team to victory as the Florida State Champions. I am enrolled in the IB program at my high school, and have a 4.6 weighted GPA. I would love to play beach volleyball while I get my degree. I want to play for a compassionate coach, that has a positive team environment.
