Hi, my name is Payton Bazant! I am 16 years old and will be graduating in 2022. I hope to play beach volleyball at the collegiate level as well as gain an education in Biology. I play as a Libero during the court season but I fell in love with the game of beach and want to play it at a higher level. I have been playing indoor volleyball since I was 11 (5 years) and I have been playing beach volleyball for the past three years. I was also a starter on my high school volleyball team playing as a left side hitter. I trained as a high level gymnast in the sport of trampoline and tumbling for seven years and three years ago I quit to dedicate my time to volleyball. Gymnastics helped me develop as an athlete in many ways such as it improved my physical strength, my mental game, and my self-discipline. I am working very hard to achieve my goal of playing college volleyball by cross training everyday, training in the gym, and practicing three to four times a week. I am a great teammate and a very hard worker. I am always trying my best to improve and become a stronger more versatile player. I am a very competitive person and always strive to do my best and compete with the competition. I would like to fit into the colleges environment athletically and academically but at the moment I am open to any options available.
