I have been playing volleyball since 5th grade. I joined the middle school league while I was still in elementary school. I have dreamed of playing volleyball in college for as long as I can remember.
I always thought that I would play DS/L for an indoor team. About 4 years ago, I began playing sand volleyball in the summers just for fun. I knew it would improve my indoor game and I loved it. I almost made the switch to a full time beach player last year, but I made a National level indoor team and thought it would be fun to play at the top level in the country. Our team had a great season. We traveled to Indianapolis for the National Tournament.
Even though I missed out on a very important Beach Volleyball season - I feel that I had great coaching and really improved my defense. I will bring these new skills to my beach game and look forward to focusing on beach volleyball this spring and summer. In 2021, I qualified and competed in USAV Beach Volleyball Nationals when I was just doing it for fun. I am excited to see how good I can get this year when I really put all my time and effort into it.
I am a good team-mate, extremely coach-able, naturally athletic and very competitive. I look forward to playing beach volleyball in college and can't wait to see what the future holds.
