Katherine Sigala '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Katherine Sigala, but I go by Bella, I am a  junior a class of 2023 recruit.  I play for 692 in Texas and I am currently on the national  team as both a defender and a hitter. I am really committed  and dedicated to the sport, for example; I travel about an hour away two-three times a week to train at 692 where I work on my skills, I love learning and growing in the sport.

My dream and goal is to one day play sand volleyball at the college level.I have been playing volleyball since the third grade, but when I was in middle school I fell in love with sand volleyball. Playing sand volleyball has taught me so much about myself, the lessons that I have learned have made me a well rounded athlete, with no limits on what I can do. I continuously strive to be the best version of myself. I work hard during practice and when I am not on the sand court I am in the gym working on my strength and conditioning. Both my coaches and trainers know how important my dream is and they push me hard each day to reach my goal. I love playing with different partners I learn so much about their style and I belive it makes me a more versatile player.
