Brooke Woeslaw '24 Recruiting Profile

    My name is  Brooke Woeslaw, I am a Senior (Class of 2024) at Canyon View High School in Arizona. I started diving about 8 years ago and have decided recently that I want to take my diving to the next level in college. When I began diving I started recreationally but quickly grew to enjoy the sport and started competing on a club team. While diving club I have gained countless years of experience both in AAU and USA competitions all across the United States. I have competed all 4 years of high school dive, two of which I was a Captain. I also recently took third in the state for Division 2 my junior year. Academically, I am highly competitive among my peers. I strive my best to produce strong results and take the extra time so that I can receive good grades.  

    As a college diver I am looking to better my skills as well as become a more competitive diver through competing at conferences and high level meets. In and out of the pool I am a hard working, dedicated, and focused person. I am very responsive to coaches and the corrections that they give me. I always have a positive and optimistic attitude which makes me an easy athlete to work with. In addition, I am used to balancing many things on a daily basis. For instance, in high school I have been a part of Student Government, high school dive, high school cheer, and NHS all while upholding my academics.  This among other things makes me able to work well under pressure and stress, making me a good candidate for any team.
