Ashley Loh '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Ashley and I am from Arcadia, California. I started my diving journey at Arrow Dive Club in El Monte, California under Coach Deliang Li. I have competed in USA Diving Nationals twice in 2016 and 2018. I also have been to AAU Nationals several times. Just recently, I switched teams in 2020. I now dive with Pacific Diving and Gymnastics Academy (PDGA) owned by Amy and Andy Kwan. I am being coached by Coach Andy Kwan. Because of the pandemic, I have been able to dedicate more time towards diving. I constantly remind myself how fortunate I am to get to train at PDGA's world class training facility with dryboards, trampolines, spotting belts, foam pit, and conditioning equipment.

In college, my goals are to have an amazing time with my dive team and do well in my academics. In the future I hope to have a career related to social media and be a founder/CEO in the restaurant industry. I am interested in majoring in business to get a deeper understanding of what will be needed to be successful in the future. 

I hope to grow as an athlete and as a person in college! I have learned great leadership skills as a member of my high school's Associated Student Body (ASB) and the assistant viola section leader in my high school's top orchestra. I would love to go to a college that supports my dream to study business, dive competitively, and make lifelong friendships and memories!
