In May 2020, I retired from my 10 year JO gymnastics career. I had multiple injuries from gymnastics that required surgeries, such as a dislocated elbow with all torn ligaments, a patellar tendon tear, and other minor injuries. I took two years off and started diving for my high school for the first time in February 2022. In late July 2022, I joined a diving club to enhance my personal skills and be part of a year round team. I loved the healthy environment and the healthy relationships with my coaches and teammates. I’m enjoying my new journey and look forward to going to practice with my team.
