Taylor Jackson '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Taylor Jackson.  I am a diver located in Westminster Colorado.  I am currently a Junior at Mountain Range High School.  I am very interested in attending college and becoming a writer.  I graduate in 2017.

I have been diving 5 years coming from gymnastics and swimming.  I hold both school records with a 6 dive record of 274.55 which is also the District record and an 11 dive record of 480.75.  I went to State both my Freshman and Sophomore years and placed in the Top 10 both times.  This year I took off high school to focus on USA Diving.  I am with Kevin Sage and Sagebrush Diving.  The high school practice and club practice coincided so I had to choose one. 

I have been to a combined 7 Nationals in USA Diving and AAU as well as many Regionals and Zones.  I just completed Region 9 and have qualified for Zones on both 1 and 3 meter in SLC Utah July 7-10.  I placed 7th at Zone E Senior Women's 1M only 13 points from Nationals.

I am interested in English and Creative Writing for school and I am a 3.5 student but working on improving that score.  Math is my weakness but I am working at improving that with tutoring.  I am a very hard worker and studier.  It doesn't always come easy but I work hard regardless.  I believe this builds character.  If I don't know...I am not afraid to ask for help.

I am a good team player and love helping others.
