Addeysen Lugo '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Addeysen, but my coaches and teammates call me Lugo. I was a gymnast for 12 years before switching over to dive in April 2024. I have always loved tumbling and the importance of being able to control my body to land all the passes, so switching over to diving and being able to incorporate my gymnastics background has been an amazing transition. I love the team comradery that comes along with diving and swimming. Coming from a gymnastics background, I already understand the commitment and determination needed for this sport. My father was a competitive diver and swimmer so this is a great way to connect with him throughout this new journey. I want to be able to dive at a collegiate level while pursuing my degree in the dental field.
