March 2015Personal Statement
I have been a successful USAG competitive gymnast since I was eight years old and did not know what to expect when I switched over to diving my senior year! When I stepped onto the diving board I found my new passion and even though I have only been diving for four months I have accomplished a lot in this short amount of time! I qualified and was a finalist for the FSPA meet, won first place in both my conference and district meets, and recently broke my schools 11 dive record which was held for 17 years! I am currently training every day on board work and also in the weight room. I am a very dedicated, competitive, hardworking, and disciplined athlete. I set very high standards for myself and have the determination and passion to accomplish my goals. I am also a very coachable athlete and a great team leader. I plan on completing my medical degree and plan to dive in college to fulfill the all around college experience.
