I aspire to go into the medical field and get an MD. Growing up with a Mom that works in a nursing home I have grown to love helping people. I just recently created a teen volunteer program at a local nursing home for my position as executive president in student council, and for my many other officer positions in clubs/honor societies. I am passionate about theatre, and have qualified for the Florida State Thespians Festival the past two years with my troupe. I was a gymnast for about 10 years, but had to retire due to many injuries. While these inuries may have been traumatic and disheartening, they helped me gain strength as an athlete, and allowed me to find a passion for diving. I have been diving for almost four years and have qualified for states every year, as well as medaling 6th/7th place the past two years. I am also an avid weightlifter and have qualified for states each year, placing 3rd and 2nd the past two years. I am grateful to be able to push myself physically and mentally everyday in these sports, and I hope to use the skills I have gained for years to come.
