I am dedicated and driven to be an exceptional diver. During my freshman year I decided that I wanted to train in Fort Lauderdale, FL (instead of my hometown of Orlando) in order to be challenged and pursue my personal goals. I was able to handle the transition of changing schools mid-year while maintaining a 4.0 in rigorous (Honors and AP) courses. I feel this change has helped me grow as a person and as a diver. I have shown that I can excel as a student-athlete in new settings, similar to those I will face when I start my college career. I have competed at USA Diving Nationals for the past four years, 2X - YMCA National Champion on Platform (2017, and 2019), and placed eighth at the 2018 Florida High School Athletic Association State Championships for 4A.
When I am not diving or at school I spend my time volunteering with my local Humane Society and Pets in Distress to help unwanted dogs find permanent loving homes. I find it rewarding to help those who cannot advocate for themselves. Being hard-working, dedicated, and determined in all aspects of my life makes me an asset to any university diving program.
