Reese Taylor '26 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been diving for just over two years, and my journey into the sport started in an unexpected way. During a cross-country workout my freshman year, I ended up at the pool, where I was playfully doing flips off the diving board. The swim coach noticed and asked if I had ever tried diving. I hadn’t, but I was immediately intrigued. Since then, diving has become a true passion. Living in rural Iowa, I joined the Midwest Diving Club, where I’ve been dedicated to refining my technique and learning new skills. I also prioritize attending camps to further develop my abilities.

I believe I’m a great team member because I’m committed to lifting others up and helping everyone improve. Looking ahead, my collegiate goals are to join a team that feels like a close-knit family—where we push each other to be the best versions of ourselves, both in and out of the pool. I’m also seeking a school with strong academics and a diverse, inclusive environment, where we can challenge one another, grow together, and compete at the next level.
