2016 HighlightsPersonal Statement
I want to be apart of a college diving team where I am able to grow and improve my skills as a diver. My diving career just began in March of 2016. Prior to diving I was a level 10 competitive gymnast. I loved the sport of gymnastics and had aspirations of doing it at the collegiate level. However, after a hip surgery I decided it was best to pursue other opportunities for myself. After the encouragement from some fellow swimmers I found a club where I could learn if diving was a good fit for me.

- I began diving in March of 2016 at Iowa Twisters (Dive Well). I attended the Iowa State Cyclone dive camp in June 2016. Over the course of that week I progressed very quickly and was able to learn nine new dives. I went on to compete at my first 1m 10 dive competition, The Iowa Games, where I placed third (307.10) in the 16-18 age group.
