I began gymnastics at an early age and have been competing with my club team for the past 8 years. I knew I would compete on my high school gymnastics team, but I believed the skills and flexibility I gained could help me excel in other sports too. Joining the dive team my freshman year seemed like the right fit to combine my gymnastics skills with the new skills I would learn on the diving board.
I just finished my third high school season of diving. I have seen improvement not only in my scores but in the difficultly level of my dives as well. After 1 high school season, I joined our local club dive team. This year was my second club year and I was able to qualify for the AAU Nationals in Fort Lauderdale 2024. Unfortunately, our club team does not have regular access to 3 meter, so I will be spending 2 weeks at camp this summer to get 3 meter experience. My goal to to compete 3 meter this club season.
With only 3 years of dive, I am looking for a coach who sees my potential. I am a hard-worker, I am coachable, and I am committed. I hope to continue advancing my skills and learning to be a better athlete to prepare to be a diver in college.
