More than the honor of awards and the glory of personal recognition, I appreciate what sports have taught me about myself. I have learned that I crave competitive environments, where my work ethic allows me to grow and succeed. I love intense preparation and working with a team toward a common goal. Athletics has also taught me to remain persistent even amid disappointments. I hope to apply these lessons as a college student-athlete and later in a career working with animals. My goal is to contribute to a collegiate Swim & Dive team in its pursuit of winning Championships.
