My name is Nicole Taormina. I am currently a junior at Regina High School. I started diving in 8th grade and have been diving ever since. I am a very goal driven individual. I set a plan and strive to accomplish it both in and out of the pool. My goal everyday is to be the best person I can, whether if it is in the classroom, at a meet or in practice. I want to continue my passion for diving into the colligate level. I have grown to love the sport of diving and do not want to stop after high school. My highest score for a six-dive meet was a 235 and for my eleven-dive meet was a 363.4. I am proud of my accomplishments and aim for more in my future. School has also been a main priority of mine so I am interested in a school that will not only help me to achieve my goals in the pool but in my academics. Regina has many opportunities to get involved, so I have been part of the Ambassadors club since freshman year and recently joined Peer Ministry this year. Being a student-athlete has taught me more than just participating in a sport, it has taught me time management, nutrition, leadership, sportsmanship, and whenever you fall down, you have to get right back up.
