I aspire to be a member of a team that strives for excellence in the pool, in the classroom, and in life. I believe that I am a good candidate for your team because I am a hard worker and am dedicated to bettering my skills along with team performance and overall moral. While I have only been diving for about 5 months now, my background in gymnastics and trampoline has helped me succeed and progress in diving in a short amount of time. I am resilient, as I overcame 11 broken bones and 3 surgeries throughout my time as a gymnast. These injuries helped me see the importance of hardwork and perseverance, and I believe they have made me strong both mentally and physically in ways that will help me throughout my diving career at your college. I am also a straight A student with aspirations to become an orthopedic surgeon. I believe that the balance between athletics and academics is very important, and I have the abilities to succeed in both of these areas. I believe that I can be an asset to your team and look forward to hearing from you.
