My name is Lily Mauro and I am a sophomore at West Genesee High School. I started diving at 10 years old and fell in love with the sport. I started competing scholastically in 7th grade and was moved up to Varsity the following year. I placed 6th for Section 3, Class A my 8th grade year and was given the Rookie of the Year award. I went undefeated in duel meets during my freshman year and placed 2nd in Section 3, Class A and 3rd overall. I was also named All League, 1st Team. Aside from diving, I played on the JV Basketball and JV Lacrosse teams last year. I am a high honor roll student, am an ambassador for Morgan's Message, and am actively involved in Student Council. Academics are as important to me as my sports. Athletics have always been a large part of my life and I love competition. I am a committed, self-driven athlete, with a goal-focused mindset. I welcome constructive criticism and am always working to better my skills in whatever I am doing. Aside from working hard, I value the relationships I have made with my teammates and coaches.
