Rachel Liu '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi!

My name is Rachel Liu and I am currently a Junior at Syosset High School on Long Island, NY. I have been diving for 3 years since my Freshman year in High School and I couldn't love it more. Before diving, I was a swimmer for 11 years both on Varsity and Club teams. I plan to improve more through this year and into my senior year as I often attend diving camps and train outside of the pool. My list is still tentative and improving each day. This sport has brought me so many opportunities and a community of friends and other divers that I never would have had if not for diving. I strive to be the best I can in and out of the classroom, which I know sounds cliche but that is the quality of work ethic that I hold myself to. I would love to continue diving in college, as it would challenge me and help me grow as an athlete and a student. I put school first but that doesn't mean diving is on the back burner- I want to ensure my future after diving is as successful as my career in diving.
