Hi, I am Mia Nazarenus and I am a rising high school senior graduating in 2025. I have been with my club team, OhK Diving, for around 7 years. This upcoming high school season will be my fourth season on the varsity team. I work hard to maintain my grades as well as going to practice to help myself improve at this sport. I also enjoy strength and dry land training. I dive 5 days a week (6 days during high school season) and I have strength and dryland training 3-4 times a week as well.
When I'm not at the pool I am studying to make sure I'm doing the best I can in the classes I am taking. I also volunteer in a middle school special education classroom and at Dayton Children's Hospital, coach summer club diving, and lifeguard during the summer season.
I would love to attend a college that best fits me not only with the team and coach but as well as in the classroom. The college should help me not only grow academically but also grow with this sport. Even though it's scary and can be hard, I want a coach who can push outside my comfort zone and help me overcome fears that way I can be the best diver I can be. I'm a hard worker and I know with the right school and the right coach and team I will be able to reach my fullest potential athletically and academically.
