I have many goals for myself as a diver in college and I'm excited to grow as a 3m and tower diver. I have some experience with 3m and tower but it is hard for me to gain access to those. As a freshman, I qualified for the state meet and placed 15th, and as a sophomore I qualified again and placed 7th making me the first girl diver from my school to ever podium at the state meet. I compete all year round on top of school, coaching our younger divers, and training horses while still managing good grades and time with my friends and family. I am a very self driven person both in and out of the pool and hold myself to high standards. Over the 4 years I have been diving, I have broken my hand and most recently a tore my labrum and had to have surgery. Through those times, instead of just sitting on the sidelines, I increased my knowledge of diving by paying attention at practice as to what my coaches were telling my teammates and watching training videos online. I also continued to do dry land drills and workouts and helped around the pool wherever it was needed. I am very much a team player and will do whatever it takes to make my team as successful as possible.
