Diving has been a part of my life for the past 5 ½ years and it is a sport I love and wish to continue in college.  I’m a Junior at one of the best high schools in the state of Oregon, very committed to my academics and looking forward to studying either pre-med or engineering.  I have been in competitive sports my whole life starting with gymnastics at the age of 5 then transferring to diving at the age of 11.  During these years I have learned all the lessons being on a competitive team can offer including hard work, dedication and perseverance through fear, pain and injury.  I am good at managing my time and the challenges of succeeding at both sport and academics. 

My athletic goal is to be part of a hard working fun cohesive dive team that will continue my growth as a diver and to earn points for our team at competitions.  My academic goal is to find a school that will challenge me, inspire me and help me excel academically to prepare me for my career and life.
