Alison Cowan '21 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to attend a university with strong academic values and be part of a diving team that is supportive and competitive but most of all family/friends. I think I would be a good candidate because I am a hard worker. I always put everything into what I am doing. I have always had to be very good at managing my time. I've been a competitive gymnast since I was 5,  and during that time I was also playing soccer and doing dance. I started diving 5 years ago. My club coach (Trish Brownlee) saw me at a talent competition doing a routine and approached me about trying diving.  I love diving and how we all support each other.  I have found myself being able to push myself and trust my coach especially when it was necessary like during WPIAL's and States.
