Shannon McCabe '18 Recruiting Profile

 In college, I really want to study a medical pathway. I have always had an interest for medical studies and I excel in many math and science courses. I have always had high grades in honors classes and this year I am taking AP courses.  My GPA fluctuates from a 4.0 to 4.3 due to the weighted honors and AP courses.  Grades have always been my priority along with my sport. Diving has always been my sport since I was 4 years old. I have made a great bond with my coach, Richard Sample, and he has brought me through leaps and bounds in this sport.  Ever since sixth grade I knew I wanted to dive in college.  I have been striving for D1 and D2 schools but am open to other teams. I really enjoy learning new things, seeing different view points, and also come into many situations open-minded. From being a competitive diver, I can take criticism very well, knowing that it will benefit me. I want to find the right school to further my academic career, as well as my diving career.
