I come from a family of student athletes. I have a sister that received a bachelors in science from the University of Florida in Applied Kinesiology who graduated with a 3.85 and is competing as a super senior that will graduate at 21 years old with her Masters. I have another sister at Penn State University that's a 19 year old junior with a 3.85 going to receive her Bachelors in Science in Education focusing on ASL and Mathematics. They are both competing student athletes working hard everyday, both physically and mentally.
I, like them, am dedicated to my education and taking care of myself mentally and physically to be my best in and outside the classroom.
I'm in the top 10% of my school and have been a part of National Honor Society since 7th grade. I have been an active participant in coding clubs and other activities involving code. I continue to educate myself outside of school through technology and by reading various articles on it. My goal is to work and see all of what I can do, to find and try new skills, and to work hard towards every new goal that I set. I want to work with others and be able to bounce off them in order to better improve myself over time while also creating and experiencing an environment in which I can both have fun and be productive.
I hope to earn my bachelors in science and focus on cyber security in order to help protect the livelihoods of vulnerable individuals.
I work hard in not only my athletics but also my academics by striving for the best and always expecting to progress in whatever way I can. I want to learn as much as possible whether it's about sports, academics, or life in general, and I'm hoping to do that in college at an institute that is right for me and supports both the student and athlete in achieving their individual goals.
