Personal Statement

My name is Hannah Grace Sanders and I am currently a Sophomore at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, AL.  I graduated high school from  Albertville High School in Albertville, Alabama in 2020.  I have been playing golf since the age of 6, participating in the junior program at Valley Hill Country Club in Huntsville, Alabama every summer. I have competed at the Varsity level since the 7th grade and was a member of the Marshall County All Tournament Team my 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th grade years finishing 2nd overall my Freshman and Sophomore years.  I was very disappointed that my senior season never got started due to the COVID pandemic.

I was blessed to be able to begin my collegiate journey at the JUCO level with the Wallace State Women's Golf Team in Hanceville, AL where I have  studied Sports Medicine.  I have been blessed to have finished Top 5 in nearly every single tournament I've played with Wallace and as a team brought home an ACCC championship in 2021 and 2022.  I competed in the NJCAA National Tournament in Ormond Beach, FL.  I was ACCC Player of the Year after achieving low medalist honors at the 2022 ACCC Championship.  My team finished runner up at the NJCAA Regional Championship to advance to the 2022 NJCAA National Championship in Samford, Florida this May.

I am extremely blessed  and am looking forward to continuing my academic and athletic career at Faulkner University in Montgomery, AL in Fall 2022 #SoarEagles
