I have been playing golf since I was only 4 years old. I spent a significant time on the golf course with my grandparents and I quickly discovered my love for the game. I am hardworking, dedicated and determined to always be the best I can possibly be.
I have been working consistently with my swing coach which has strongly benefited my game. Through my determination and hard work my greatest strength on the golf course is my ball striking. I hit it far and I am consistent, as well as accurate. With my ball striking constantly improving my scoring average continues to come down. My current focus for my game is my short game as it is just as important as my ball striking. I am always working hard at my game as I believe consistency and determination are the keys to success in the golf game.
This Summer I have played in 7 events. Placing first in the CJGA Alberta Open, Third at the MJT Calgary Junior Girls and Second at the Ladies Club Championship at my home course, Priddis Greens Golf and Country Club. I have achieved multiple other top 5 finishes in my tournaments this season. Throughout these events my scoring average has been a 78.3 and my lowest tournament score this season is a 74 (+2).
I not only take pride in my golf game but also my academics. I am an honor roll student attending Dr. EP Scarlett high school. I study hard and I plan to continue my status as an honor roll student throughout the rest of high school and going into college. My goal is to attend school to become a Physiotherapist and to be able to help athletes recover and become the best versions of themselevs.
Outside of the classroom and golf course I tend to live an active lifestyle. I enjoy exercising and doing things outside such as going for hikes. I am always looking to better my overall lifestyle both mentally and physically!
